For our install, we decided on a MXL Pro system. We have tried to take some pictures to help you with installing your AiM gauge on your Spec Miata. Click on any of the pictures below for a larger version.

Here is the final look of our install. We decided to completely replace the stock dash.	Another view. As you can see, we added blinker lights, a "Check Engine" light, as well as a high beam indicator light.
Here is our VDO 0-80psi oil pressure sensor. The install kit is now available as a complete kit for only $36.50 and includes everything you will need except the pressure sensor! Including the 1/8 BSP Special fitting for the Miata engine block. It is a very clean setup and plugs directly into you AiM system. Click here for the install sheet.	This is how we mounted our speed sensor. It is on the driveline right behind the output shaft of the trans. In this image the magnets are not yet installed.
Here is another speed sensor mounting image. We used 2 "Rare Earth" magnets and we applied a little 2 part epoxy to help retain them.	Here is our dash mounting plate with our template attached. This makes getting all the mounting holes correctly placed very easy! The plate sells for only $35.00!
This is our install of our popular string potentiometer throttle position sensor. Very easy install.	Here is another view. We suggest string pots for throttle position for accuracy and the fact that they cannot attribute to a stuck open throttle.
Here is one way to mount your water temp sensor. We prefer using an AiM water coupler in a heater hose fore accurate numbers and ease of install.	We also have configured the signal from the stock fuel level sensor. We are fine tuning this process and will have a real nice system for your use soon. This will allow you to view and record your fuel level right in your AiM product!
