A professionally trained instructor, experienced in Data Acquisition issues will attend your test session or race day and work very closely with your team. This is not a training session but rather a full effort to make your program faster. The session will start with a check to make sure that your Data Acquisition system is installed correctly and that it is performing correctly. A record will be made of all of the relevant chassis, engine, tire, ect. settings before you run your first session. These will all be recorded in a electronic database. The Data Acquisition system will then be calibrated and readied for the first on track session. After each session, driver comments will then be taken and recorded and crew chief comments will be taken and recorded. The data will then be analyzed and a baseline developed. Track maps would be generated, split reports generated and reviewed, histograms generated and reviewed, current laps could be compared to previous laps, 2 different drivers could have their laps compared. The decisions on what to do with the data will be determined by the crew chiefs needs. Depending on the data gathered, gearing decisions will be made, jetting changes would be made, and chassis changes would be made. All changes would be recorded into the electronic database. The vehicle would then be changed and prepped for the next session. The Victory Lane Data Technician would then complete the previous sessions final records and prepare the system for the next session. After all of the sessions are complete, Victory Lane Data will compile a report of all of the sessions, all of the race vehicle settings, all of the changes, all of the drivers and crew chiefs comments, weather and track data. These will be given to the team for a final record of the days activities. This will make the next trip to the track much easier and will provide a great tool for looking at later and figuring out what a change will do to you race vehicle. Key Benefits
